Albert Alcoz: Forth and Back and Forth

SINOPSIS / SYNOPSIS:

Forth and Back and Forth es un homenaje a uno de los artistas más reconocidos del cine de vanguardia. Michael Snow realiza un paseo junto a su mujer Peggy Gale por una céntrica calle de Barcelona, mientras dos cámaras de super 8 registran sus pasos, una por delante y otra por detrás. Los dos protagonistas participan del juego con sus gestos a lo largo de un trayecto que queda invertido y nuevamente repetido hacia adelante. El título hace referencia a su película Back and forth (1969).

Forth and Back and Forth is a tribute to one of the most celebrated artists of the avant-garde cinema. Michael Snow takes a walk with his wife Peggy Gale on a central street in Barcelona, while two super 8 cameras record their steps, one in front and another one behind. The two players act and play the game with gestures along a path that is inverted and repeated. The title makes reference to his movie Back and Forth (1969).
